Stacey, a driven and goal-oriented leader, has a successful career history in sales and management. She has extensive experience leading teams in providing communication services to business customers across the nation. Stacey is known for her resourcefulness, problem-solving skills, and high integrity. She is passionate about personal and professional growth and enjoys helping others achieve their goals.
Stacey's recent accomplishment is the publication of her book, Friends from the Beginning: The Berkeley Village That Raised Kamala and Me, released by Twelve Books, a division of the Hachette Book Group (HBG). The book explores her friendship with Vice President Kamala Harris and the community that helped raise them both in Berkeley, CA.
Stacey's career highlights include her role as National Sales Manager in AT&T's Indirect Sales Channel, where she led a team of third-party firms responsible for selling AT&T products and services. She was also featured in CRN Magazine's "The Power 100: The Most Powerful Women in the Channel" 2018.
From 2009-2013, Stacey led technical teams in San Francisco that provided voice, data, and wireless solutions to businesses, where she was responsible for growing a revenue base of over $35 million. She also held the position of Campaign Manager from 2013-2015, where she developed and managed telemarketing campaigns and tracked campaign effectiveness.
One of Stacey's most significant roles was within Pacific Bell and SBC's Healthcare Markets Organization from 2000-2009. She led a sales organization managing over 250 healthcare and biotechnology clients, with annual revenue exceeding $50 million. This role was meaningful to Stacey because designing fail-proof networks impacted lives.
Stacey holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco and has completed years of leadership and development programs through AT&T University. She is a Certified Professional Training Instructor, a graduate of the Data Communications Institute, and a Certified Sales Coach. Stacey is also passionate about animal protection and wildlife preservation and enjoys hobbies such as designing and sewing clothes, golfing, gardening, and fitness.
